Meet Alice

 Happy Monday everyone! Today it's a pleasure for me to introduce you to Alice Cerea - a 19 year-old blogger from Bergamo, Italy. Her blog is called Baby What's Up?! 

Alice has a unique and beautiful style that really caught my eye. What's even more amazing is that she has managed to maintain a successful blog while receiving her diploma in business management and her correspondent in foreign languages, which she's had since June of this year. See some her looks for yourself by clicking here.

Fall Trifecta

The trendiest must-have pieces for fall are simple and super easy to incorporate into any wardrobe...

1. The wedge sneaker - any color, any brand. I tend to gear more towards solid colors when it comes to wedge sneakers, but there are many fabulous styles in a wide assortment of colors and patterns. And promise, wedge sneakers go with almost everything! 

2. The vest - denim, leather, fur, checkered...the possibilities are endless! Just throw on a vest over any item in your closet to instantly amp up your edge factor and create a fall look that's both trendy and warm. 

3. The patterned dress - patterns are in this fall and what better way to showoff your love of all things bold than to slip into an attention-grabbing frock?

Love the understated studs on this vest - they add interest and edgy glamour! 

Don't forget the arm candy! Bangles and spikes are extremely popular this season. And contrary to popular belief, mixing metals is perfectly acceptable.

Fall is all about layers and experimentation so go buy that leather studded vest that you've had your eye on all summer - I did! 

Heatwave

Just when I thought autumn weather was among us and I reluctantly started to pull my sweaters and jeans out from under my bed, we got this surge of warmth that left me reaching for my tanks and shorts again. Hey I'm not complaining though - I'll take this July weather for as long as Mother Nature has in store. I wasn't ready to give up on warm nights anytime soon anyways. 

I immediately took full advantage of this uncharacteristic October weather by prancing around in this little number - an Archer Townsend piece that I absolutely adore! It's super comfy (literally feels like a nightgown) yet looks polished and put together. Definitely my kind of easy breezy dress! 

And I just have to mention how proud I am that I found all of these matching accessories. What a total score! I'm telling ya, turquoise is so hot right now.
