It's that dreaded time of year again when summer is the only thing on all of our minds, however, there is much to do before we're finally able to walk away from all of our school duties and fully embrace that desired summertime feeling - and all the freedom and joy that comes along with it. 

Finals are just around the corner, so I spend the bulk of my days studying, writing, or in meetings. How fun. One thing I still look forward to everyday day though is getting dressed! The beautiful weather is definitely a mood booster and as all fashionistas do, I love showing off my spring & summer wardrobe of brights and florals. 

It's hard to beat the feeling of wearing a new summer dress/skirt on a warm sunny day! So although I may be struggling through these last three weeks, I will definitely enjoy creating outfits for the season. If anything can put me in a good mood, it's wearing something pretty...even if I'll be stuck in the library all day.       

Casual Versatility

You can only imagine my excitement when, after putting this outfit together, I realized that my nails matched perfectly! This was totally done by accident...this time at least. 

I love this combination because although I'm wearing a sundress with a nice belt complimented by a beautiful necklace, I still got that casual energy going on through my denim jacket and Converse tennis shoes. It's a great style to wear to class or on a relaxed Saturday afternoon. 

If you want to switch up the look and opt for a fancier vibe in the evening (let's say you've got some swanky dinner plans), exchange the tennies for heels and ditch the denim for leather or a blazer...or you can always just nix the jacket idea completely. Who doesn't love versatility? Daytime to nighttime in no time at all!

Finding a belt, earrings, and a bangle that all match perfectly is what fashion dreams are made of - a match made in fashion heaven if you will (I'm cheesy). As pretty much everyone knows, and if you don't, you can always tell by taking just one glance at what I'm wearing, I have a healthy obsession with matching and color coordinating. So for me, these three pieces (all purchased at very different times) sent me into a happy dance. 

Now I have the ability look perfectly pulled together no matter what I'm wearing as long as I combine my yellow accessories. The three amigos, the three musketeers....okay I'll stop with the cheesiness). But seriously, you can't go wrong when so many of your accessories are an absolute match! Here's to lucky fashion finds and color matching to no end!
