Clothing coordination is something I've always strived for. In middle school I was known as the girl who always had to have everything match. I would change purses daily in order to ensure that my entire ensemble matched to a tee. Heck, I even matched my Bath & Body Works perfume scent to my outfit (apparently certain scents go with certain colors...)
But as I've gotten older and have had more exposure to the world of fashion, I know that matching perfectly isn't always a good thing. Mixing colors, mixing prints, mixing textures, and really stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new styles and trends are some of the many messages that fashion preaches - and I've really taken those to heart. However, sometimes, I have to admit, I slip back into my old ways and cannot resist becoming miss matchy matchy again.
Take this outfit for example, the purple color of my sweater is pretty much the exact same shade as the purple in my scarf. My purple earrings then, match that purple as well. And then there's my gold necklace and bracelets, which coordinate perfectly with my gold embellished headband. I just can not resist how perfectly coordinated this whole ensemble is!
I guess old habits die hard!
