For my cousin's 22nd birthday, I went out with her and some of her friends for a lovely dinner at LA Live, which I had never been to before. It was definitely a fun night (I came home very full), plus I got to see a new and exciting part of LA. I loved all the energy and people, and how even at 10:30 at night, it still looked bright outside due to the neon lights - it reminded me of Times Square. 

I'm still getting use to LA style. It's very different from what I'm used to and I'm trying to soak it all in and draw inspiration from what I see on the streets. I've honestly never seen anything like it and I'm a bit worried that I won't fit in...after all, I brought lots of girly and preppy outfits for this summer, which I know now is so not Cali. However, I was pretty proud of myself when I came up with this little number for a night out. Although it may not be LA style to a tee, it's my first baby step into the California fashion scene.
