Cozy & Bright // leather leggings + sweater + fur stole

Looking for a holiday ensemble that's equally as comfy as it is stylish? ...Because everyone knows Thanksgiving is all about those elastic pants... This outfit is definitely the solution you've been searching for! Warm, festive, and undeniably cozy, this is how you do holiday dressing in the comfiest way possible! 

Let's acknowledge the obvious and talk about this (faux) fur thing that's around my neck. Gaining major popularity last fall/winter, fur stoles, which were introduced in 1917, are having a huge moment and I'm loving it! While I was a bit hesitant about the trend at first, I'm on board 100 percent now. Not only does it add loads of warmth to any look, but it adds a certain luxe feel that's super glam yet effortless at the same time. 

This sweater. I cannot get enough of this sweater. It's perfectly oversized, slouchy in all the right places, and incredibly soft & stretchy. It's my go-to topper when I need that extra layer of warmth. And it just so happens to be chic at the same time - that's what I call a win-win!

Leather leggings are the next best thing to regular leggings, which means they've got all the comfort but with TONS of extra style. These stretchy babies are what will allow you to grab that extra plate of helpings...fashionably of course!

Sometimes plain black or brown boots are just too boring. When keeping the rest of your look simple and straightforward, play up the drama with your footwear choice! And when it comes to loading up on the personality, these booties pack quite a punch. 

Blush is the perfect neutral to compliment jewel tones and neutral shades. For my purse, I wanted something different from black but not too distracting so that it would overpower my shoes. 

These statement earrings are ideal for the holidays. They remind me of a glittery bow on top of a present or even a snowflake. They definitely provide an extra dash of sparkle, which is essential to complete any festive ensemble. 

A bold berry lip is an accessory of its own. I kept my eyelids light and shimmery with champagne shadow while I went heavy on my lips to offset the darkness of my clothing. Plus navy and burgundy are always a glamorous combo! 

 Ideal for a casual holiday setting, a lengthy car ride to the relatives', or an airplane trip, this outfit proves that the holidays CAN be comfortable and relaxed without sacrificing appearance. Contrary to popular belief, sometimes you actually can have your pumpkin pie and eat it too.

 While dressing up for holidays is always fun in my book, sometimes a comfy, laid-back approach to a special occasion is the right move.
