Believe it or not, the holidays are upon us, people! And even though I full heartedly believe it's too early to start breaking out Christmas decor (Don't worry Thanksgiving, I see you), I have already started planning and styling my holiday outfit guide. This is an unofficial holiday post featuring a look that can easily work for a festive get-togethering — whether it be for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or ANY social event on your cal between now and New Year's.
This season, I'm loving velvet, shimmer, rich hues, and metallics. And when it comes to embracing the holidays and all that they have to offer, I'm looking forward to getting cozy, dressing up for parties, and spending quality time with loved ones. Let the celebrating commence!

[jacket: Zadig & Voltaire (I also like this one) // tank: J.Crew // jeans: J.Crew // boots: Nic + Zoe // clutch: Michael Kors (similar style here) // necklace: Kate Spade (I also like this one) // earrings: Ann Taylor (I also like this pair) // watch: Ted Baker (I also like this one) // lip color: Anastasia Beverly Hills matte lipstick in "Petal"]
Nothing says "celebration" quite like confetti, which is why I'm sharing these gorgeous confetti-filled pics courtesy of The Confetti Project. No matter what you're celebrating, The Confetti Project will capture it with beauty, rawness, and a touch of magic.
Next time you're in NYC, I highly recommend paying Jelena Aleksich a visit in her Brooklyn Studio. I've done two sessions with her, and each time I've A.) gotten emotional (in the best way possible) and B.) walked away with not only pretty photos, but a physical representation of where I am in a specific snapshot of my life — how precious is that? As we head into the holidays, let's remember to not only celebrate the season, but also where we are in this moment.
