Summer Heat // Satin Maxi Skirt + Crop Top

I wasn't kidding when I said I have a new uniform! For my third post in a row, I'm shamelessly rocking another crop-top, high-waisted combo. This one is especially playful and bold, with a pinch of sexy, making it a perfect go-to look for hot summer days, and even hotter nights 😉.

A satin, body-skimming skirt like this one hugs your curves without feeling clingy. Paired with an extra short tank, it looks especially effortless. Meanwhile, you can always count on platform heels to help elongate and sculpt your legs - these babies do just that, plus I love the floral embroidery.

Red, yellow, and black complement each other so well. Throw polka dots into the mix and you’ve got a punchy combo worthy of hitting the town! For jewelry, I’ve been loving all sorts of hoop earrings lately. This vintage pair, gifted to me by my mom, is chunky, glam, and all sorts of fabulousness 👌. Styled with the headband, they give my outfit a fun, retro flair.

These photos were taken last week on Notre Dame University's campus during a visit with my family. My sister is currently a rising senior at Notre Dame, and I personally haven't been back on her school's turf since I helped her move in three years ago. 

At first, my sister just needed to be in South Bend to complete a shift at her summer internship, but my fam decided to turn it into a fun day-trip where we explored campus, ate locally, and took a stadium tour. We had a great time, and this outfit helped me combat the heat in style all day — and evening — long.
