Commit to Color

Fall is upon us and this year I'm making a commitment - a color commitment. The fall and winter seasons tend to be more neutral oriented when it comes to the color wheel, but personally, I'm not ready to say goodbye to some of my bright summer hues, and I don't think I ever will be ready. This fall I plan on incorporating as much color as possible into my outfit selections. I feel like that statement is easier said than done - I tend to wear black tights on a weekly basis, but I am definitely going to try. For me, color is the spice of an ensemble, and it can be as easy as adding a vibrant necklace (like I did above) to virtually anything. New York Fashion Week this September primarily saw shades of blue on the runway, so as a heads up, blue is the new black...maybe I really can brighten up my fall this year.
