One of my favorite things about fall is wearing boots. And for me, booties are the perfect footwear to compliment shorts, a skirt, or a dress once the weather starts taking a turn for the chilly. I love a light brown or even tan bootie when bare legs are showing, and a black bootie with sleek black tights. When done right, they both will work to elongate your legs and not breakup your line. Booties add that extra edge to any outfit while I think of riding boots as adding prep and an element of sophistication. Booties are fresh and young and especially with a heel, very chic. Overall, booties are very adaptable and can be worn formally or casually, which translates into "closet staple."

    I totally agree with you on booties and boots in general, I love pairing them up with whatever I have in my closet just to see how edgy/comfy/cozy my outfits can be. Your outfit is so cute, and boho!
