Holiday Rose Petals

Dressing in your holiday best doesn't have to mean suffering in ill-fitted dresses, itchy blouses, or uncomfortable skirts for the sake of looking festive and glamorous. Your weekend denim staple can easily serve as appropriate holiday getup - just follow some simple styling tips!

Start off with a great top - one that is comfortable yet still has "wow" power. A shell in a holiday color is preferable; one with detailing and intricacy. Next, throw on a casual blazer. 

Killer heels are a must but that doesn't mean they have to kill your feet. A two inch heel is perfectly acceptable. Use your footwear as an opportunity to play with patterns and color and throw something unexpected into your ensemble. 

And don't forget the main attraction - your jeans! Choose a dark wash with a sleek and flattering fit. 

Layered jewelry gives your outfit much needed holiday sparkle. 

Don't be shy to take off your blazer! If you've chosen a great top, you won't even need it.
