Sweater [Dress] Weather

The sweater dress - a beautifully and practically designed article of clothing that keeps us both warm, comfortable, and stylish. It's like wearing a socially acceptable Snuggie! 

I love sweater dresses (especially casual ones) because they are versatile. They can be worn with tights, flats, heels, or (my personal favorite) knee socks and tall boots. 

Liven up a monochromatic palette by adding a splash of color through your accessories. This necklace gives any look instant personality! 

Sparkly nails - am I the only one who can't get enough?

Everyone has those lazy days - especially as the daylight grows shorter and your shopping/to-do lists grow longer. So when you find yourself in the midst of a sluggish (or even a hectic) day, the last thing you want to be worrying about is your clothing. Cue the sweater dress. 

Knit dresses are usually comfortable and figure flattering, not to mention require  little to no styling expertise. Just pop the dress over your head, throw on a necklace or two and some bangles and you're finished. You look put together even if you don't feel put together. 

And don't forget that these little beauties are multifunctional as well. I've worn mine to holiday parties, to school, to run errands, and even on dates. It's a classic look - you just can't go wrong!
