Stripes & Brights

Stripes are my go-to pattern, I think they look so classy and polished with just about anything. Complete your striped look with gold jewelry for an extra style boost. 

These booties are a modern alternative to classic nude pumps or peep-toes. I especially love the side details. Bonus - you don't need a pedicure with these babies either! 

Get bright this spring with your accessories too. This watch is perfect for me since I wear a lot of pink. 

Candy-inspired hues are big again for spring, and I can't get enough of coral. Don't be afraid to go bold with your bottoms! 

This yellow J. Crew bracelet is such a burst of sunshine. I love how yellow looks great with every other color in the rainbow and adds a refreshing yet subtle touch to any outfit. 

Layers are great in spring and I bought this sleeveless chambray blouse from Forever21 solely for layering purposes. Because it's sleeveless I don't have to worry about a tighter sweater not fitting over it.

I'm currently home in Chicago for spring break and although it's pretty cold outside and still wreaks of winter, I wanted to wear something colorful and fun; something with the essence of spring but still warm enough to be practical. This outfit did the trick! 

Navy and white striped items are everywhere lately and I love these coral dress capris because they add some major flavor to an otherwise monochromatic look.  And aren't these booties fabulous? I could wear them with everything. My boyfriend bought them for me for Valentine's Day - he did well!
