Today I'm keeping it simple with a layered sweater & blouse combo in black, my tried and true boyfriend shorts, and grownup Mary Jane's in leopard for a dose of personality.
Over the summer my mom picked out this gold necklace from Ann Taylor for me. She thought it was a classic piece that I could use to dress up even the plainest outfits - good call Mom! I love the modern geometric pendant and the fact that such a minimalist piece can make a big difference - especially for this look.
These adorable leopard heels are so fun to wear. I truly view leopard print as a neutral and when treated like one, you leave so much more room for creativity in your daily outfits.
I couldn't resist playing up the leopard in my shoes with coordinating earrings from Betsey Johnson.
Maybe it's just because I'm getting older but I find myself more and more attracted to collared shirts as time goes on. The tailored, polished look is very appealing to me and I prefer to balance the preppiness with some edgier or more casual pieces; hence the leopard and denim.
I've been obsessed with layering gold bracelets lately. I think it's this October vibe that's gotten me into gold so much - I love the warm tone once the weather gets chilly.

It's apparent that I wear dresses and skirts. A lot. In fact, that's almost all I share with you all on my blog. And to be fair, that's honestly the bulk of my wardrobe and I do wear dresses almost every single day. But with that being said, as the weather turns colder, I tend to shy away from my usual wardrobe choices and turn to pants to keep me extra warm.
I wanted to share with you all a typical outfit of mine that I wear to class. On my blog I tend to dress up - even more than I do in my everyday life. So today I'm keeping it real and posting a comfortable and functional outfit for any day of the week.
