Topping It Off :: fedora + denim vest

Do you know what fall is the perfect season for? Hats! I've actually never worn a true fashion hat before (no, baseball caps don't count)...until now! And you know what? I love them. Hats really are the perfect way to top off a stylish fall ensemble. 

Leather has been everywhere this season: dress sleeves, shirt collars, boot detailing, etc. But one of my favorite, unexpected ways to rock leather is through accessories. This leather bracelet has been a hero for me this fall - it's practically been glued to my wrist. It's edgy, versatile, and ultra-chic! 

These black booties have become my fall staple and I find myself wearing them a few times a week. I love how they're plain enough to be highly versatile yet different enough to draw attention. The studs and leather detailing definitely set these babies apart.

What makes Julia's jewelry insanely creative and special is that all of her pieces are made from her own hand-drawn designs. Each drawing features an object that has specific symbolism to henna tradition - how cool is that? She makes black, colored, and even custom designs. I absolutely love my little swan!  

Dainty pearl earrings soften the black, edgy pieces of this look while adding a subtle feminine touch.

The more rings the better, and don't be afraid to mix metals. 

This dress is just my cup of tee. A tee shirt dress is simple until you add accessories, which makes playing around with them so much fun. Vest, hat, booties: check, check, and check.

I really love this outfit and it's one of those looks that I feel great in. We all know that confidence is key for looking your best and I couldn't agree more. Maybe it's this new hat, but something about this look has me feeling fantastic! 

It's been a busy last couple of days but I am currently in Virginia enjoying a short break from school. Let me tell you, this little mountain vacay is much needed and I am taking advantage of every second. Yes I brought this fabulous hat and yes beautiful fall pictures of the mountains will be coming soon!
