The New Short

Although this may not be a weather savvy outfit in this especially hot July weather, I can never resist a blazer paired with shorts- especially white shorts. This is such a smart outfit that can easily be worn for a variety of occasions. Well tailored, appropriately fitted, not-too-short, crisp shorts are the new skirt, and can be worn day or night, dressed up or down. This ensemble looks extra sharp with a sparkle clutch for the evening, and a nude wedge brings it back to summertime chic. I love the shell I'm wearing underneath the blazer due to its comfortable yet bright and flattering nature. The shell necklace pulls it all together with an added touch of sophistication and style.
