Power Couple :: sweatshirt + pencil skirt

While I'm itching to wear sandals that show off my recent pedi, I have to be practical because, alas, it's not quite warm enough to be showing a lot of skin. I decided to pair these peep toe heels with black socks for an effortless modern feel. I know my dad would be happy to hear that sandals and socks are actually fashionable now. 

All of these photos were taken on Elon University's campus. I just love my school and I'm so happy spring is on its way! 

Adding a beanie to this look was my finishing touch. I thought it pulled these contrasting elements together perfectly - not to mention it kept my ears warm! 

 Speaking of power couples...my boyfriend of four years spent the last 16 days visiting me at school and he joined me for a few photos. Sadly he left on Sunday to return back to his own school 1,000 miles away, but as always we had some amazing adventures together during his lengthy stay.
