Keeping It Ladylike :: metallic skirt + leopard heels

Emulate the modern lady's paired-down polish - perfect for a weekend brunch date. Team a feminine midi skirt with a flowy sweater for the ultimate high-low mix. Pink lips and glossy pearls brighten this combination for spring.

I played around with my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette to create this eyeshadow look. I love the hint of silver - it's  playful yet chic. I thought it was perfect for spring because it's dramatic but not overpowering. 

Pearls are a classic favorite of mine. While some may view them as old fashioned, I have fun modernizing my peals by wearing them with unexpected combinations. Make your pearls fresh again by pairing them with bright lips and current trends. 

I've had my eye on these heels for such a long time and now that I finally have them in my possession I can't stop dreaming up new ways to style them. Leopard is officially my new favorite neutral - I'm just wild about it ;) 

How great is this side slit in my sweater? It really captured my attention when I tried this piece on and I think it adds even more personality to an already super cute top. You can layer it over a colored tank or wear it bare like I did for an edgy spin.

Since most elements of this look (skirt, lips, heels, shades) speak for themselves, I decided to tone down my wrist candy and keep it relatively simple with two silver bangles.

Spring is finally in the air and I couldn't be happier - I'm sure many of you can agree that its arrival was much overdo. I'm so excited to pull out my favorite skirts and heels again and start rocking some fabulous spring fashions. 

The energy that accompanies spring is vivacious and lively, which really gets my creative juices flowing. I'm currently digging midi skirts; fierce, statement-making heels; eye-popping makeup; and of course fresh blooms!
