Stumped about what to wear to your next holiday shindig? Not for long! A timeless red sweater and a flirty feather skirt is always a good idea.

If you want to dress to impress, this statement skirt is a great place to start. In black, it's simple enough (and super versatile), yet its soft, unique texture makes it completely one-of-a-kind...and a real show stopper at that. Even better, it's perfect for twirling! So instead of reaching for your tried-and-true black pencil skirt next time, opt for something a little more fun. This skirt is 100 percent party approved!

A red sweater is a no-fail option for the holidays. They're forever festive and can easily be glammed up with the help of a sparkly statement necklace. I love this one because it's cropped, which makes it the perfect partner for all of my skirts.

Say goodbye to your boring black pumps and hello to these spotted beauties! Still just as practical and basic as your go-to heels, these shoes are way more exciting and cute. After all, nothing says "I'm ready to party" more than a bold polka dotted print, am I right?

Sticking with my theme of not-so-basic black pieces, this clutch is super versatile but still incorporates some individuality with these gold flecks. For the holidays, it's an easy choice - especially when I'm rocking golden arm candy!

This collar necklace from Madewell offers a whole lot of sparkle without overwhelming my outfit. It's dainty yet impactful, and it doesn't hurt that I always get compliments when I wear it! It truly looks like a vintage piece your grandmother would own.

Simple black studs paired with gold bars create an effortless, mix-matched look that's elegant and youthful.

You're going to see me wearing a lot of variations of the red lip this season; and for good reason! There's nothing more festive than a bold pout, and in cherry red, you'll be totally holiday-ready...even if you're wearing all black! But above all, I LOVE matching my lips to my clothing.

See? I told you this skirt was fun to twirl in! It certainly makes quite an entrance, don't you think?

casual holiday looks pics
Looking for a holiday ensemble that's equally as comfy as it is stylish? ...Because everyone knows Thanksgiving is all about those elastic pants... This outfit is definitely the solution you've been searching for! Warm, festive, and undeniably cozy, this is how you do holiday dressing in the comfiest way possible!

Let's acknowledge the obvious and talk about this (faux) fur thing that's around my neck. Gaining major popularity last fall/winter, fur stoles, which were introduced in 1917, are having a huge moment and I'm loving it! While I was a bit hesitant about the trend at first, I'm on board 100 percent now. Not only does it add loads of warmth to any look, but it adds a certain luxe feel that's super glam yet effortless at the same time.

This sweater. I cannot get enough of this sweater. It's perfectly oversized, slouchy in all the right places, and incredibly soft & stretchy. It's my go-to topper when I need that extra layer of warmth. And it just so happens to be chic at the same time - that's what I call a win-win!

Leather leggings are the next best thing to regular leggings, which means they've got all the comfort but with TONS of extra style. These stretchy babies are what will allow you to grab that extra plate of helpings...fashionably of course!

Sometimes plain black or brown boots are just too boring. When keeping the rest of your look simple and straightforward, play up the drama with your footwear choice! And when it comes to loading up on the personality, these booties pack quite a punch.

Blush is the perfect neutral to compliment jewel tones and neutral shades. For my purse, I wanted something different from black but not too distracting so that it would overpower my shoes.

These statement earrings are ideal for the holidays. They remind me of a glittery bow on top of a present or even a snowflake. They definitely provide an extra dash of sparkle, which is essential to complete any festive ensemble.

A bold berry lip is an accessory of its own. I kept my eyelids light and shimmery with champagne shadow while I went heavy on my lips to offset the darkness of my clothing. Plus navy and burgundy are always a glamorous combo!

Ideal for a casual holiday setting, a lengthy car ride to the relatives', or an airplane trip, this outfit proves that the holidays CAN be comfortable and relaxed without sacrificing appearance. Contrary to popular belief, sometimes you actually can have your pumpkin pie and eat it too.

While dressing up for holidays is always fun in my book, sometimes a comfy, laid-back approach to a special occasion is the right move. When compiling my holiday outfit roundup for this year, I wanted to make sure to include a casual glam look that works in a more relaxed setting yet is just as stylish as a party dress. I think this combo fits the bill!

Uptown Girl // pink peacoat + gray OTK boots

nyc fall street style
Channeling Blair Waldorf a la Gossip Girl, I took to the steps of the MET in a stylish power pairing that demanded attention. What do you get when you team a modest LBD with a standout coat and sexy suede boots? This season's spin on classic sophistication and modern femininity...and a whole lot of compliments of course!

The perfect little black dress fits like a dream and provides endless styling opportunities. I love this one because it is SUCH a chameleon. I can wear it in the summer with strappy sandals, pair it with a leather jacket and sneaks for an edgy vibe, or go full on glam with heels and sparkly jewelry. Here I'm letting it be the base of my look - the mock turtleneck makes it special without taking attention away from my coat and boots.

When winter rolls around, you can never have too many coats! And while classic black is a must, owning a coverup in a softer hue provides a much-needed escape from a never-ending sea of dark neutrals. I recommend blush because it compliments every skin tone and is super versatile. A coat like this always leaves a lasting impression!

Over-the-knee (OTK) suede boots are everywhere right now. And let's be real, the tighter the better. There's no better trick for creating the illusion of long legs while simultaneously commanding the attention of a room. If you don't already own a pair, what are you waiting for?

Every outfit needs a pop of sunshine (especially during the dreary days of winter). This bright purse is what I like to call my personal burst of happiness! Its bold, cheerful color is attention-grabbing and oh-so fun; it literally brightens up any ensemble.

My outfit would not be complete without this chic, feminine pair of sunglasses. I throw these babies on when I want to feel like a star!

No necklace means extra big earrings. This angelic pair by Kendra Scott is soft and pretty yet makes a major statement. I especially love how they pick up on the light pink tones throughout my look.

Bold lips would have been overkill while nude lips wouldn't have done this outfit justice. A light pink pout was my happy medium and it truly gave my look a polished romantic finish. I'm a huge sucker for delicate pink lipstick - it will almost never do you wrong.

Give your favorite LBD personality with fierce accessories that make you standout in the best way possible. Take your cue from this season's hottest shoes, hues, and sweet silhouettes. Being the most stylish woman in the room has NEVER been easier.

This outfit gives me superhuman confidence - if you couldn't already tell from these pics. The formula (dress, boots, coat) is foolproof yet impressive, which makes it an easy go-to when you need to dress to impress. I wore this ensemble to a Sunday brunch date with my beau/photographer/BFF and people - not to brag - literally stopped to take my picture. Now THAT'S the kind of traffic-stopping attention I'm talking about!
