Spring weather is upon us, people! And you know what that means - it's time to break out those jackets that have been collecting dust. Or in my case, buy a shiny new one! This luxurious (vegan) suede anorak/trench by Tobi is completely fabulous and SO perfect for fickle spring weather.

This is the kind of jacket that you can just throw on and go - and then be the most stylish person in the room once you get there. The super luxe texture adds just the right amount of polish to any look while still being amazingly versatile. I can easily pair this beauty with everything from a dress to jeans. A graphic tee is exactly what I needed to sass this outfit up. Lately I can't get enough of mixing casual pieces with more upscale ones, and this top never fails to provide the perfect dose of downtown chic.

Believe it or not, I bought these jeans ages ago at Pac Sun - remember Pac Sun? I believe I was a freshman in high school, I kid you not! And while they definitely don't fit the same as they used to, they've become a beloved pair of pants that I just can't seem to get rid of.

While my jeans are old, THESE amazing shoes are brand-spankin' new! You can actually treat yo self and buy the exact same pair here. Lucite (aka clear plastic) is one of the fashion industry's BFFs right now, and I love how these chic sandals brilliantly incorporate the material into the design. From afar it looks like my heels are floating in midair!

A touch of blush reminds me of spring, which is why I couldn't resist polishing off my look with this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff bag (thanks, Mom!) Round saddlebag styles are super popular right now and I think they're a great way to switch up your typical rectangle-bag game.

A favorite pair of mine, these earrings were gifted to me right before college graduation after I FINALLY got my braces off. When my mom presented them to me I nearly cried! I had had braces for 9 whole years so it was an emotional, beautiful day :)

Trying out the cult-favorite makeup brand NYX for the first time, I decided to paint my lips with "Sydney." And for the amazing price, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the color stayed put. I got multiple compliments on the shade too, which is always a bonus! Not to mention pale pink is perfection for spring.

This look is perfect for roaming around NYC (...minus the heels maybe). It's stylish, comfy, and ideal for mild outdoor temps. GUYS - spring is in the air!

[jacket: Tobi // tee: Rebecca Minkoff (I also like this style) // jeans: Pac Sun (similar pair here) // shoes: Zara (another style here) // purse: Rebecca Minkoff (similar style here) // choker: Urban Outfitters // earrings: John Hardy (similar style here) // eyeshadow: Urban Decay Naked 2 palette // lipstick: NYX in "Sydney" (similar shade here)]

These pics were taken on Museum Mile next to Central Park on the Upper Eastside. It was such a beautiful day out - the sun was shining and the streets were busy. It's that kind of electric energy that makes New York so addicting. I could have stayed out there all day!

  2. Ahh, I wish it was that warm here in Latvia! :/ But we can still see some traces of snow and it kind of seems like spring is still out of reach :/
I am loving completely everything you are wearing! I guess the trench and those heels have to be my favorites!
