Believe it or not, the green item you see me wearing above used to be a dress. That's right, a dress, it was an appropriate length and everything - didn't even require tights! So what happened? I washed it. 

I know I'm not the first to experience this dreadful post-washing shrinkage, but whenever it strikes, it's both horribly disappointing and utterly maddening. What's even more frustrating is that this dress was clearly labeled "machine washable" and it's not even 100% rayon...not to mention that I never put it in the dryer either! Why my washing machine decided to turn this much loved clothing item into a Barbie doll dress is beyond me. 

But there's good news - now it's one of my favorite tunics! That's right universe, you can't bring me down! You significantly shorten one of my sundresses and bam, now I have the perfect tunic! See folks, there's always a silver lining!

    Hurray! Glad you were able to salvage this dress! It's funny, cuz in my last post I wore a tunic that I bought thinking it was a dress. Leggings and tight make our once dresses appropriate! lol as always, you look fab!
