Here it is: my unescapable Valentine's Day post! Unescapable because I love Valentine's Day so much that there was no way I'd let myself get away with not posting a romantic look to wear on this special night out. 

I had two options here - either go for the roundabout V-Day look (no red or pink to be found yet still flirty and appropriate for a candlelight dinner...if that's how you chose to spend your Valentine's Day) or the classic LRD (little red dress) accompanied by girlish accessories such as headbands and bows. Clearly I couldn't resist option number two - I guess that's just my romantic nature! 

Here we have all you could ever want in a Valentine's Day ensemble. We've got your deep rich red color (flattering on everyone), your peplum (perfectly on trend), animal print (gotta have that wild element on Valentine's Day), bows (so girly yet still so irresistible), sparkle (the ultimate and instant way to feel glamorous), pearls (too classic to be forgotten), and of course your heels (flats just won't do it on this day). 

No matter how you choose to spend February 14, there's no excuse not to do it in style!
