Nyc fashion blogger Kathleen Harper wearing a lavender pastel outfit
I can't think of a more appropriate way to usher in May than in an outfit that personifies spring. Playful, polished, and oh-so sweet, this look is guaranteed to put a pep in your step any day.

Saturating myself in pastels had me feeling like freshly spun cotton candy. I've got your mint earrings, baby blue nails, lavender two-piece, and multicolored croc-effect heels. It all seems like A LOT, but grounded in primarily monochrome, with a neutral splash in the form of a white clutch, this look is surprisingly wearable.

Effortless and lightweight, this lavender set was comfortable enough for me to walk nearly 20,000 steps in (aka over 8 miles). But yes, while the color is stunning, and certainly attention-grabbing, I think the unsung hero of this ensemble is my bag. It helps add depth to any look, and I can't wait for this baby to accompany me on many summer adventures.

This was actually my Easter look this year. I was dreaming of something on-trend, quintessentially spring, and comfortable. I loved the idea of a matching set, and throwing these summer-ready accessories into the mix completely won me over.

ORIGINALLY originally, I planned on wearing this ensemble in Paris last month, but as my trip approached, I realized it'd be too cold. And now, with the release of Taylor Swift's "ME," I feel like this outfit's timing couldn't be more perfect. It's safe to say pastels are having a moment, and I'll just be over here taking full advantage, thank you!
